Walking group shot of 4 female 1 male with Sydney Harbour Bridge in background

Recently we photographed the HighSpec Properties Sydney team. They were in need of fresh individual corporate headshots and group shots for their new website. Their brief, photograph the team harbour-side with a couple of iconic Sydney landmarks in the background and in studio setting. No Worries, We can do that! This is one of the many convenient perks having a large photography studio based in the middle of Sydney CBD and having the harbour a stones throw away. We met and photographed the team with very Sydney backgrounds and then within minutes be back here at our Pitt Street Studio to achieve their Sydney studio photography needs. The client was very happy knowing that we could achieve all of the photography they wanted with zero fuss and were even happier with the resulting images.

We recently did some corporate photography promo images for Kim Skildum-Reid who runs Power Sponsorship at our Sydney CBD studio. Power Sponsorship matches brands with sports teams for sponsorship deals that work and benefit both.
Kim wanted to get a new range of bright poppy images she could use across multiple platforms. After a bit of test shooting, we worked out a style that Kim really liked and nailed down what she wanted.

Product furniture photography of beige modular lounge set

By Dezign Furniture Photography

Product furniture photography of orange eclectic couch cow hide rug

We are back on location photographing furniture with our long time client and friend, By Dezign furniture. The team at By Dezign are always prepared and have multiple room sets for us ready to photograph at their Auburn store. The trickiest thing about these shoots is that we need to manoeuvre our lighting equipment from one side of the store to the other. Sounds simple enough but consider that we have to navigate around fixtures, low hanging store lights, and make sure that we don’t knock over any customers in the process. We love how experienced and involved the By Dezign team are on their shoots. With any given set they know exactly where and how the resulting image will be used. This is invaluable because we know that the images we produce are exactly what the client needs.

Recently to make their products appear more dynamic and introduce a new level of sophistication we are now retouching custom background to their sets.

Another editorial photoshoot for long term client Citadel Magnus. They had organised this photoshoot of Adam Trippe-Smith, founder of @konvoykegs. Konvoy Kegs developed a tracking beacon and software system to track the location of kegs at all times. For breweries, this means scan free tracking of all kegs, and information about how long kegs stay at various locations. It also allows breweries to collect data and learn what products and batches are performing.

The images were to be used as promo and with the main image to be used alongside an article in the Australian Financial Review.

Earlier this year we were thrilled to photograph Temple & Webster‘s co-founder, MD & CEO Mark Coulter for the cover of Octomedia‘s Inside Retail Australia magazine. It was a relatively quick and easy photoshoot at T&W’s HQ, Mark is a natural in front of the camera and we think the resulting final image reflects his charm and personality to a T (&W)!

Been a while since our last news as we’ve been frantically busy so far this year, all thanks to our wonderful clients!

One of the many interesting projects we’ve done is to work with Atlassian and their agency Ways & Means, who are based in Los Angeles, to shoot video of Atlassian’s Work Futurist Dominic Price launching “Atlassian Space Services” here in our Sydney CBD studio, our video would be combined with footage they were shooting in the US. We’ve photographed Dom before and being such a bloody funny guy, we knew we were in for an entertaining afternoon!

Since the agency in LA was still in lockdown, we were sharing our video output from 2 cameras separately to having a 6 way zoom call so everyone in LA could see the production and remotely direct the action. And to our somewhat surprise, it all worked seamlessly!

After the shoot, the 56GB of raw video & audio footage was uploaded via Dropbox to the client the same day.

Many thanks to Sofia Leigh for her always impeccable make-up services.
